They hate the tax increase for the wealthy that is needed for the subsidies. Killing the mandate is not enough to completely strangle it, though it has forced increased premiums and many companies to drop out. They need to repeal it or completely defund it. They really do not care how many less well off Americans get hurt, as long as their wealthy donors are happy. It is the start of the promised tax cuts for the 1%.
