Yes interest has been intense because there is a great deal of circumstantial evidence that points to something there. These are the same attacks that Nixon engaged in when the Watergate investigation closed in on him, except that there was no Right Wing bubble that keeps the fools insulated from information so that they can believe their "fake news" nonsense.
