A friend is a member of DU ,encouraged me to join, I only began posting several days ago.

I am "genetically" Democrat Have loved politics all of my life, read and researched information
that interested me for many years..so when I saw the "new" format/forum thought I might could
navigate it fairly well and posted.

I subscribe to a lot of publications online so that has kept me informed
and updated...but...that pales in comparison to DU's 24/7 updates..literally
by the minute and with thought provoking discussion..

Everyone has been so nice to help with technical questions also!
I have learned so much and this directs me to find more information on various topics..

Thank you for your kind welcome.I especially appreciate all the members who work to make this site
so informative automatically with excellent instructions.
