4 years ago i was not informed about the differences between progresses and liberals compared to the rest of the democratic party. i did not know what a blue dog was or that all media is 97% owned and runned conservatively. i do know since 1970 i hated the conservative mindset but lack the proof. my whole family is republican, i mean everyone and me out of 100, the only that does not vote republican. it is hard sometimes to keep mouth shut about oppression, but outnumbered and would be a pointless exercise in futility i did. i will say that this site and a couple of others have educated me about politics. i am now a little better off than i was thanks to reading here the last few years. thanks again DU for being one oasis in the political desert.
