White House eyeing Kellyanne Conway to be next communications director

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/08/white-house-eyeing-kellyanne-conway-to-be-next-communications-director-report/

The Daily Caller reports that “there is chatter within the White House that Kellyanne Conway is being looked at as the next communications director” to replace Anthony Scaramucci, who was ousted from the job a mere ten days after being hired.

Although Conway, who formerly served as Trump’s campaign manager last year, is a known commodity within the White House, she also faces significant credibility issues that might hurt her ability to serve as the administration’s official communications director.

The co-hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, for instance, said earlier this year that they refuse to allow Conway on their show due her record of making blatantly false statements in defense of President Donald Trump.

“So note to CNN — sorry, I love CNN — but you’ve got to stop putting Kellyanne on the air,” co-host Mika Brzezinski said back in May. “It’s politics porn. You’re just getting your little ratings crack, but it’s disgusting. There’s nothing that she brings to the table that’s honest.”
