95. I have been a member

since 2008 but was a major lurker and never seemed to find the time to devote to the forum. I was always too busy with work and other issues. DU is a great place though and it's hard to stay away. It has the largest group of Democrats and free thinkers on the internet. The diversity represented here is unbelievable. There are so many smart and funny people here it's really uplifting.

I have learned so much from this place I can't begin to tell you. It is just nice to hang out with like minded people and as I become more familiar with the posters here the place feels almost like family and it's hard to stay away.

I have recently become disabled and my life has changed dramatically. I now have a lot of time to come to DU and read and post, it has really been a life saver for me so far. It's the first place I go in the morning and the last place I go at night. I hope to be here for a long time and enjoy all the great things DU has to offer....you people are the best, Thanks for being here.
