...people also need the assurance they can question their elected representatives without being beaten.
And I would add that you can run for elected office without having your children threatened, and publish your political opinion without receiving death threats

Ryan doesn't care. He makes jokes because if that man lives or dies is meaningless to Ryan's goals.
