This sort of scare-mongering is silly.

Moreover, even if (and even this "for the sake of argument" proposition is absurd) there was some way the federal government could "delay" the 2020 Presidential election[s] -- there are actually 51 separate such elections, conducted at the state level -- such a "delay" would not result in Trump continuing as President. Per the U.S. Constitution, Trump's term would end at noon on January 20, 2021, even if no successor had been elected.

That is, absent a constitutional amendment, which won't happen, there is no lawful mechanism by which Trump could "continue in office."

Again, this is all silly.
