"Blood and Soil" is a slogan lifted verbatim from the old German Nazis of the thirties. Since they were mostly Germans talking about a country inhabited mostly by Germans for perhaps a hundred thousand years, it was somewhat understandable that they would feel that way. In the US, where the rally crowd's European ancestors obtained the land by slaughtering the original inhabitants only a few hundred years ago, their effort to claim that slogan is totally insane. But when has that ever stopped them?
