Police detain suspected driver
The suspected male driver of the car that plowed into anti-racist protesters in Charlottesville, leaving several injured, has been detained by officers, police told BuzzFeed News.

Police at a station in downtown Charlottesville told reporter Blake Montgomery that the driver is in police custody.
