Not only are their extremists not conservative, the whole Republican Party, along with their propaganda arms, Fox "News" and National Hate Radio, aren't conservative, either.

"Conservative" is a concept that implies an aversion to rash action, caution in making decisions, and acts that are based on sound, thought-out reasoning, risk-averse. Does that sound like any Republicans you know?

I have been working for the same outfit for 43 years, been with the same woman for 43 years, raised two children who we successfully taught to earn their own way, decide their own careers, and support themselves. I have no debts, do no drugs (not even nicotine or alcohol), and dislike making decisions without having had the chance to think them out first. In other words, I'm conservative--at least as defined in English. Republicanese defines it differently, it seems, but it still doesn't automatically make them "conservative" just because Fox Noise says so. National Hate Radio is NOT "conservative" radio just because the Washington Times says so.

You can wade out into the ocean as far as you want. That still doesn't make you a fish.

"Fascist" does not equal "conservative" in any language I know.
