Before I begin, I haven't posted in a while but that does not mean I have not been watching my projects have been occupying a lot of my time and I recently began dating a muslim woman who makes me very happy (I just want to say its nice being on a forum that is open minded and welcome to our relationship, there are sadly a number of people in this world who are not so it feels good to be here) and yes I did miss you all :3.
When I say I "used to know weev" I need to clarify that, I was active on 4#/bchan in the early days and up until around 2013 (I would visit /g/ and /b/). I became aware of weev when I got on IRC and joined the Rizon server(I also stopped going on IRC at this time to), none of this is important but what is important is this. Weev was always a fucking asshole and a troll, he would say anything he had to in order to get a reaction out of his target. This was all before he got convicted and went to jail for the AT&T debacle. Speaking of that, weev "lucked up" on that, he didn't "exploit a zero-day", all he did was "change a few numbers" and that was it. He wants the public to think he is an amazing hacker when all he is is a script kiddie that got caught being a fucking idiot. Hell, the Wired article he wrote was a joke, he displayed no technical knowledge and from what I have witnessed he doesn't possess any. When he got to prison, he became a hardcore neo-nazi (he has a swastika tattoo on his chest, you can easily find this on Google and yes weev is jewish).
Weev never contributed anything positive on IRC, he would crack stupid jokes and rant about how "the jews are responsible for *INSERT A PREJUDICE STATEMENT HERE*. He is someone that enjoyed seeing how far he had to go just to get someone to get upset or angry. It was a sick and stupid pleasure for him, you could imagine him smiling looking at his monitor as someone he went out of his way to upset began to post how horrible weev made them feel. Mind you, weev would go on facebook or tumblr to get these reactions.
My interactions with weev were minimal at most, if I seen him on a channel chatting I would leave the channel or log off. The one time I interacted with weev is when I was logging off for the day and said "goodbye everyone, except for weev I hope you are hit by a drunk driver the next time you are out in public". That was it, I spent most of my time avoiding him or observing his idiocy. Like I said, weev was always an asshole and a troll, but now he is something worse he is a neo-nazi troll
So why am I telling you this now? Because for a long time, I was a "good person who did nothing and allowed evil to succeed" and for this I apologize, I cannot make up for it but I can do the right thing now.. I now approach nazis and other racist assholes the same way I approach bullies, because these "alt-right assholes" are bullies and the deserve to be punished. I use the skills I learned as an "ethical hacker" to use there own information against them (it always amazes me how much information people willingly post on the internet that can be leveraged against them, if you know how to listen you can get anything you want from a target :3).
So for bullies like weev who attack those who cannot defend themselves or need help defending themselves, there will be someone like me to counter the evil they spew onto the world. Weev has made a lot of enemies and built up a lot of bad karma, I have no doubt that weev will fuck up and get arrested again because once an idiot always an idiot.
