In reply to the discussion: "Alt-Left" groups "charging with clubs"???? [View all]LeftInTX

They get called, "Far-left", but I don't know what they are. They are anti-fascist, but they are anarchists. They often wear black and cover their faces. (Although in the hot weather I noticed their bandanas had fallen) And wearing all black is very hard in hot weather. They were armed with sticks and shields. They are not afraid to confront. They throw things. I saw a butane flame thrower. They were physically brawling with some of the alt-right people.

The hell you say. I really hate to hear that. There is no alt-left, that I know of, though.

Oh. Bummer. But beating on a car isn't "charging with bats" the protesters.

I see. I found a CNN article about them. I didn't know about them. Far left (aka "alt-left").

That CNN article I found on that group I think says they call themselves that.

If not in defense, it gives up moral upperhand as far as instigating violence. It's also illegal.
