18. That's a good start, but she should have done more.

I'm thinking she should have organized a big gathering, maybe even called it something like a "convention." And then broadcast a big speech from that "convention" to a national audience.

And if that didn't work, she could have engaged him directly in a battle of words. Like a debate kind of thing. THAT definitely would have prevented this nightmare.
