3. I just got into an argument with my boss about racism and privilege.

We've got the kind of relationship where we can have these contentious conversations and learn from one another. It's pretty cool. He's not a Trump supporter by any stretch of the imagination, but we definitely differ politically. So plenty of room for discourse.

This morning it was like beating my head against a wall. I could not get him to appreciate the differences amongst prejudice, bigotry, discrimination, and racism.
