Since when has wealth ever corresponded to social value? Wealth is a function of market value, not social value. To pretend there is something unique about Beyonce in that regard is bullshit. Cancer researchers don't typically earn millions of dollars UNLESS they are getting kickbacks from medical companies, which means their research is compromised.
You know who else is rich? Bill Maher. The very person people here defended for using the N word. The very person who posters here insisted that anyone objecting to his casual use of racial slurs was "stupid."
Not only that, posters here defended Susan Sarandon's six multi-million dollar homes, not one but SIX.

Defending her in that one thread wasn't enough. They then proclaimed her a heroine, changed avatars to show her picture. https://www.democraticunderground.com/10027724675
Now what social value could Sarandon have that Beyonce doesn't? Beyonce's wealth comes from writing music, performing, and selling records. Saranon's comes from advertising for cosmetic companies like Loreal that engage in substandard labor practices in the Global South. But Sarandon's wealth was not only acceptable, it was championed because she was one of "us" (not me, but them). There is no principle, quite the opposite.
So not only is there no evidence to support your false claim that such threads are common for rich white people, and men in particular, but there is evidence showing DUers defending extreme wealth held by rich white people.
Your claims are false. Not only that, I believe you know they are false. I think if you did not know they were false you would have tried to search for threads demonstrating your claims. But you did not. Instead you responded with dismissive contempt toward a poster of color who has watched this shit on DU for a long time.
Now, you can respond with more dismissive rudeness. It doesn't change the facts. It doesn't change what is true. It only highlight your contempt for them.
Next time an election rolls around and you wonder why black people don't line up to vote as you demand, think about this. Think about how your glib dismissal of concerns about racism might be interpreted by people who have seen way too much of this shit. And then maybe, just maybe, you might have some insight into why the privilege of people like you doesn't make their list of priorities when voting.
So yeah. Beyonce has more money than you do. It pisses you off. She has no redeeming social value. She's not like you, whose social value is such that you deserve her wealth for the mere fact of being born you.
