now that the bar has been lowered even further for trumpie, his stooges will go on all the cable news show proclaiming how trumpie is showing great insight and leadership and is helping the country heal, blah blah blah.

Textbook case of lowering the bar, then coming back with a token gesture and having the stooges fall over themselves with praise. The guy who continually brings home straight Fs on his report card is now going to be celebrated for bring home a D-. Put it on the fridge with a magnet.
