Poor dear, he's not facing Mister Nice-Guy. With rare exceptions, most of surviving senior Democrats have found out that if you roll over and play dead like Republicans and the "non-partisan" idiots in the press want you to when the Right Wing Propaganda Machine starts spewing filth, you shortly find yourself out of office.

It's like this, Mitt-sie. You're not facing someone who's going to make nice and run a John Kerry-style campaign against you. What happened to Osama bin Laden should have clued you in.
