(55,575 posts)12. Well, Teddy Kennedy wiped the floor with him when he challenged him in 1994...
and did it, partially, on the Bain issue. Romney has a habit of underestimating his opponents, imo. He did that with Kennedy and he has done it again with Obama.
He is, I think, led by his arrogant belief, voiced by his wife, that it's HIS turn and is learning a painful lesson, yet again, NO ONE gets an automatic 'buy-in'.

I agree, I don't think he's been seriously challenged before. Not on a national and global stage.
