the two Winchester hunters, Sam & Dean, walk into their bunker and Dean is carrying that club. They are patting one another on the back verbally, and Dean says, "Dad would have loved this," referring to the club.
The inside joke is that Negan is played by the same actor that played Sam and Dean's dad.
