And on top of that, we are *all* a "protected class" when we are assaulted or otherwise mistreated because of a (non-criminal) sexual preference. Does he suggest that someone who has been outed as, say, a foot fetishist is fair game for discrimination? Rickatola Santorum did this kind of thing, saying that legal sexual activity--e.g. fellatio--is equivalent to illegal sexual activity--e.g. pedophilia.
