And I remember it so clearly after Clinton increased taxes (by one vote - Gore's, as President of the Senate) over the howling of the Reich-wing that it would destroy the economy. Less than two years later the economy is really humming.
And, when questioned by the media?

"This is just Clinton following Reagan's economic plan." - Overfull pantload, Newt Gingrich.

I still remember that.
