Regardless of the endstate of this administration after Trump bails - whether Pence pardons Trump, Pence goes first and Trump gets a new VP not of his choosing forced upon him by the party, or Trump and Pence commit suicide simultaneously in the Rose Garden - we're looking at a Democratic president in 2021. If not sooner - nothing says the GOP couldn't finagle some way to bring Hillary Clinton in as their VP pick so that she has to clean up Trump's mess...you know, like they did in 1993 when they stuck her husband with GHWB and Quayle's disasters, or in 2009 when they dropped Dubya's mess in Obama's lap.

Rubio wants to be a two-term president of the United States. I don't think he'll accept a guaranteed two-year hitch as a caretaker VP.
