As you know, the area between CA-55 (Costa Mesa) and CA-78 (Escondido) is practically a right-wing confederacy.
There are many exceptions (I was among them); but most voters in that area tend to be your Orly Taitz-clapping, "anchor baby!" yelling Republicans.
