72. I have a Facebook friend that lives near Goliad

and I also was in the band when we played at a couple of football games at the stadium. We arrived at the game so late that the clarinets were still putting their instruments together when the announcer asked for us to play the school song.

I grew up in George West and still remember Hurricane Celia from when I was five years old. The wind kept blowing water into the rent house where we lived and we were in the hurricane eye for about a half-hour. The next morning when we awoke we saw that the garage that was made of sheet metal had blown away. Meanwhile, a 40 foot live oak tree in our front yard was uprooted, but fell away from the house.
