Basically the only thing that kept me going from my Jr. year in HS through my graduation from ASU. Then I got the fuck out of the ignorant hell hole known as PHX and drove west. Thanks to NewTimes and Jana Bommersbach for staying and fighting against the ignorant repukes in AZ. God bless her and the staff at NewTimes.

p.s., twenty miles outside of PHX on May 24, 1985, I broke into a big smile and NEVER regretted leaving those ignorant assholes.
