There are a lot of people that took a chance on Trump because they are sick of Washington. It was a bad choice and many now regret it but it is an understandable choice.

Washington has been screwing the little guy for decades now and for many Clinton represented a continuation of business as usual.

Sure Trump was an obvious nightmare to us but mostly folks don't pay attention the same way most of us here do.
