Sure, great message. It seems he has the prerogative to allow current personnel to continue serving, but he's still been commanded to stop enlisting transgendered personnel. Or accepting any transgendered personnel to the service academies. It seems that Mattis and the service chief do not agree with this policy, and Mattis might be pushing it a bit. But until he pushes it further - and, yes, I know this is tantamount to mutiny - all they are are nice words. And, as we all know, words from republicans are worthless.
