(17,606 posts)161. Oh the video of Rockport and Victoria is tearing my heart out.
I have a cousin in Rockport and she got out but who knows what she will find upon returning. Friends in Victoria who also thankfully evacuated but may be returning to nothing.
I feel so bad for ALL areas hit. I am an animal rescuer and the devastation not only to people, but pets and wildlife makes me cry.
I'm on the NW side of San Antonio and we have been quite fortunate thus far. Rain all day and some winds but only a few gusts with a punch. Local weather is warning about flooding through the beginning of next week. So me and my charges will stay in with stocked provisions and hope nothing worse comes.
My thoughts and prayers to all who have been affected by Harvey.

I'm in Austin and I'm hoping it doesn't come west enough to flood us too much.
