Yes, Trump has embraced it because that's who he is - a racist authoritarian.

And, yes, unless the republicans in Congress become something they are not, it's only going to get worse in all ways.

I don't think republicans will become something they are not.

I think they will continue to pretend that nothing too horrible is happening.

A lot of Americans are also pretending that.

But I also think a lot of Americans pretend racism isn't a real and tangible evil until something horrible happens - like death.

And even then, some Americans still rather cling to the belief in "law and order" that can do no wrong than to recognize what is actually happening.

Again, I'm sorry, sheshe2.
