7. If many white Americans deny that there was a racial past,

and I include among those "many" the self-described "heritage not hate" segment that glorifies a flag of slavery,

and many white Americans claim that the Obama Presidency was "proof" that this is a post-racial America,

and many white Americans claim that Interstate cross check and voter suppression are not racially motivated,

I would say that the US is still repeating the same racist actions as prior to the 1964 CRA, but in a slightly different form.

The success of the modern GOP is based on gerrymandering, suppression, and racism.
