51. In one article I read the owner of the home said she was told not to worry...

because that area "never floods". Apparently there was a lot of flooding in areas that "never flood". She must be kicking herself like crazy now but if you're not familiar with an area and are told that it's safe by locals, or local official you tend to trust the local.

Anyway, it's horrible to see them all like this but I'm so very glad they're all safe now. Hopefully they're none the worse for the experience.

Now let's hope like crazy that the cats that were there were rescued and are okay now too.
