Maybe if Ivanka was made Secretary of the advancement of Women's Issues, or something like that, where the World could see her as having a job, and be judged on the success or failure at that job, she might be accepted. Now she doesn't have a real job other than Daddy's little girl. The same with Jared. He has so many "jobs" he ends up appearing to have none. NOONE can possibly do all the things daddy-in-law has assigned to him; plus he has NO background in any of them, so he just looked at as "Ivanka's husband".
