(20,056 posts)23. This has been an ongoing problem in Houston for decades.
Houston keeps paving over the soil thus creating more runoff not to mention building in flood prone areas. Some day the perfect storm will hit Houston and the price for these decades of looking the other way, and poor planning in general, will be the lives of hundreds or even thousands of people.
