The corruption and malfeasance on behalf of the republicans is too deeply ingrained with their majorities in the House and Senate; add that observation to the very likely probability that the #IPOTUS will shut this down before the conclusion of the work.
The conman may also issue blanket pardons to the likely suspects: Flynn, Mnafort, Jared, etc. Outrageous? Hey, why not - look at the Arpaio pardon!
The best case scenario is the House flip in 2018 - a very distant possibility in a country that has lost the ability to conduct fair elections.

Real Patriots, like many on these boards, are to be commended for standing firm on the decks of a sinking ship of state; but the ship is most definitely sinking and only a miracle will save it now. Without hope, what are we?
