6. In today's outrage machine? Maybe for a day people would be pissed off

I hear the same thing about Blazing Saddles. Yeah they could get away with making that movie today. But here's the thing - the internet outrage machine would be pissed about it for a day, then they'll move on to the next thing the internet tells them to get angry at. That is a problem with our throw away culture that we live in - even our outrages only last a day or two!
