The title of your linked to article solved my confusion immediately. 'Florida's Lieutenant Governor Denies Any Affair With Her Female Staffer'

Reading further into her comment, she seems to think that lesbianism is something that arises from being unable to attract a man.

She's a nice looking woman, no doubt. Too bad she's not as bright as she is pretty. It is truly amazing the crap that comes out of people's mouths when they are trying to save their ass.
