6. 106 in Oakland about a mile from the lake above 580. One of the hottest days I've seen in 60 years.

We got up to 106 around this time yesterday. Our house is 90 years old, in the 70's the original owner installed air conditioning for health reasons. It still works well. We've used it a few times. Like yesterday and today.

But compared to what most of the rest of the country, if not world goes through weather wise I've got no complaints. Also very few reflective surfaces in my house which is fortunate.
