There was some poll a few weeks ago that contained the info that 17% said they absolutely would not vote for a Mormon. I figure every last one of them were repuke/right wingers because Dems usually don't care about religion as a political factor; independents would already be repukes if they cared. So, basically 17% of those Mitt is playing to absolutely will not vote for him. That could translate into stay at home and effect down ticket races also. Let us bow our heads and pray so.........

I'm not sure why you'd conclude 17% would not vote for a Mormon must be repukes.

No one on DU that I have seen is not voting for a Mormon becasue he's not a Christian.

yeah but what percentage of likely American voters know which candidate(s) is a Mormon?
