And by saturation I mean when Jay Leno and David Letterman start cracking wise on the subject.
When it reaches the level where those jokes are understood by that varied of an audience, it means they understand the content and context of the information; whether they agree with it or not.
If that doesn't happen, then you may be right. It might be too esoteric. But if it does, that's when you should look for the polls to start shifting.
As far as the strength of the message, I don't agree. NC (where I live) is a battleground state and the earlier Bain/Outsourcing Ads running here are shifting the polls. Only slightly so far, but there is movement.
