15. Highly taxed? Compared to countries not prepared to take on the world??

So it turns out that Americans are not the most highly taxed citizens. Denmark and Belgium and Finland burden their citizens with taxes nearly twice as heavy as the USA. And here's the rub, Denmark, Belgium, Finland - and most of the other countries on that list - are not even trying to maintain formidable armies and missile systems, and Denmark, Belgium and Finland are so seldom hit by hurricanes .....
