...whether by accident or if sufficiently flattered into it. This may have been the manifestation of that possibility, but in this case it seems to have resulted from Trump's pettiness and desire to assert himself.

It may be that Dems actually made the best simple case for the short-term extension, and that Republican talking points were too vague even for President Dumbass.

We shouldn't bet on lightning striking twice.
