Former Clinton aide: Trump has never 'paid the price' for his actions [View all]

A top aide to Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election is blasting President Trump, claiming that he has never "paid the price" for his actions.
Philippe Reines writes in Politico that while training to portray Trump in mock debates with Clinton, he "learned a few things about the man who, though I wouldn’t have believed it back then, went on to become America’s improbable 45th president."
"Trump has never paid the price for his actions. I couldn’t find even one instance. He didn’t pay taxes. Nothing. He didn’t pay creditors. Nothing. He didn’t pay contractors. Nothing," Reines writes. "If you go bankrupt once and there are no consequences, why not do it three more times?"
Reines argues that Trump's disdain for the potential consequences of his actions stretches to his personal life. He rips the 45th president for his treatment of first wife Ivana Trump and second wife Marla Maples, whom he and began dating while married to Ivana.
