And I must confess I'm a little worried. It seems to me that there were more than a few issues that Bush/Cheney just arrogantly refused to address or answer to which should have caused people to question their fitness for the office. Much more substantial than "Rev. Wright" bullshit or the birth certificate bigotry. Yet they prevailed.

What troubles me the most is the absolute hatred which is fueling and funding much of the Republican party. It seems that they want to win at any and all cost. Even if it means winning with someone who they do not respect or trust.

I've come across far too many 'friends' who supported Bush with their $, votes and time, who now claim that "he did lots of things that they didn't like or agree with" patriot act/Iraq/stimulus as if he somehow was an rogue agent.

I hope people wake up-
