5. About 10 years ago I was in Dallas waiting for a night flight home.

The incoming flight was delayed due to heavy thunderstorms in the area. They cleared up around 11 PM, and the flight arrived at 11:35. The gate attendant told us that if we didn't have the door closed by midnight we'd have to stay overnight.

They cleared that plane, checked things out, and we all got on (pretty full 757) and pushed back at 11:59! The funny thing was as everyone settled in a couple of minutes before midnight, of course some self-absorbed idiot businessman got up to get something out of his overhead luggage. EVERYONE screamed at him and told him to sit the f- down. It was hysterical.
