12. North Korea can't make mini nukes, at least not yet

They're still at the stage where they're trying to make one small enough to fit in a missile.

Remember, Fat Man and Little Boy were several tons each and could barely fit in a B-29. Getting a bomb is different from getting a bomb that is easily usable as a weapon.

I think we used to have nukes we could fire out of 8" field artillery, which is very small indeed. I know we had warheads that fitted into a Tomahawk cruise missile.

This has been a concern for decades, a covert nuclear strike. A strike that hides the aggressor.

I don't see North Korea being able to pull that off for a while.
