...where I work was practically dancing with joy the morning of November 9th, and exclaiming that she could never have voted for Hillary because of her husband's behavior.

This woman is herself divorced (I don't know the circumstances) and conceived her third child well before she and her second husband were married. I keep my mouth shut about politics at work, except with those I know share my outlook. Boy, would I love to be able to show her this excerpt, and also ask her how she would feel if she were denied a job for which she was eminently qualified because of how people felt about something her husband did, not something shedid.
