39. What's a "landline"?

Actually, I'm an Apple user and I have two laptops, an iPhone 7, two older iPhones, an iPod Nano, two Apple TVs and a couple of old laptops for archival purposes. I've never been disappointed or unsatisfied with the company nor their products. Since I use these devices constantly, the higher prices I paid are insignificant when amortized on an hourly/daily basis. Further, everything I plug into works as its supposed to and I use my equipment for a lot of different applications. But, as with all things, to each his/her own.

It is remarkable, however, that Apple is choosing to price the iPhone X at $1,000 or more. That action pushes all of the cell phone market upwards. And I can't disagree with the "wow" factor of having the first $1,000 phone.

Not that it matters, but I don't have any plans to upgrade. In general, I upgrade computer-based equipment about every 5-6 years so I've got a few years till I have to worry about my phone.
