8. My smart phone cost $30

I have a pay-as-you-go plan that adds up to about $8 per month. I don't leave the house often so I mostly use it via my wireless connection. I like it for exchanging Twitter DMs with blogslut jr., for listening to podcasts and for checking this and that when I'm not on my laptop.

When I go out I use it to schedule rides and checking maps and stuff. Also I use it as a phone.

As for the price tag on the newest iPhone, it's ridiculous and if people want to pay that much, bless their hearts. Everyone else will wait for the release of Android phones that do the same things for way cheaper.
