49. Stay safe.

No power at my place but I do expect it to be restored today. Over half a million originally down in my County and as of this morning at six am they were down to twenty-six thousand without.

As of yesterday almost all of our traffic lights had been restored. Roads, for the most part, have been clear since Wednesday.

We had no real tidal surge, which was our big concern, and/so flooding was non-existent.

Just last night I found a hotel room. My wife and child headed to family a little bit north of us. I stayed to keep the business going. I missed her and my son and wanted to get us back together.

I'm thinking you are just south of Ft. Meyers? Somewhere around Marco?

Sorry about how slow the transition back to normalcy is going for you and your area. From what I felt here I can't imagine what it was like just south of us. We really got lucky in Pinellas.
